Jo, one of our all star customer care reps started working at Silver Maple in 2022. Silver Maple was her dad’s vet for his farm for several years and her sister, Caroline, used to work here as well. Caroline always said how much she loved working at Silver Maple and so when the receptionist position became available, Jo applied right away. She has always loved animals, growing up with dogs and cats and even raising a few litters of beagles with her dad. Jo thought it would be something she would enjoy doing. It ended up being better than she even expected!
Jo grew up in the neighboring school district at Brandywine then went on to receive her Bachelors of Science in Sociology in 2018 at Kutztown University.
Outside of work Jo enjoys cooking, taking care of her house plants, and being outdoors.
Jo’s furry family includes a beautiful English Yellow Lab named Sierra. She is everybody’s friend and always appreciates a delicious treat when offered. Jo adopted her sweet feline, Beast, here at Silver Maple a little after she started, and he fit quite well into her home. He follows her everywhere around the house, he likes to explore the outside, still keeping her in sight and has a lot to say if you ask him.
Jo has been a great addition to the Silver Maple Family, and we are so happy she is here!
