Our Assistants

Our Staff Makes The Difference

Malorie Moyer

Malorie Moyer, ordering manager and veterinary assistant, came to Silver Maple in March of 2014. She started as an assistant and has taken over ordering inventory as well. She has loved animals for as long as she can remember, and feels that Silver Maple is the perfect place to call her second home. She has five fluffy “children”: her sidekick, Jemmy, the Australian Shepherd; two cats named Tashi and (toothless) Tikki; and two ball pythons named Koda and Spyder. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting and fishing, hiking with Jemmy, showing her El Camino at local car shows, playing guitar, doing yoga, and hanging with her family and friends. Fun Fact: She can juggle, and was in the same juggling club as another member of the Silver Maple crew, Caroline!

Justine Bennecoff

Justine Bennecoff, veterinary assistant, loves working with animals both at the clinic and on her pig farm. In addition to pigs, she has sheep, chickens, donkeys, and a horse. Justine submits her animals to local fairs and also presents them at the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show. She also loves just hanging out with her animals, particularly with her dogs Lacey, Millie, and Tequila. When she’s not working with animals, Justine is also a sports fanatic, with a favorite being softball. Fun Fact: Justine could definitely take on a black bear in a fight and win.

Audrey Grace Gehringer

Audrey Grace Gehringer, veterinary assistant, was born and raised in Berks County. She has always loved animals, and so she is working towards obtaining a degree in veterinary medicine. She is currently taking premed classes at Kutztown University and veterinary technician classes at Lehigh Carbon Community College. She lives on a small farm where she keeps 13 chickens, two rabbits, two house cats, a dog, and two horses. Her hobbies include horseback riding, hunting, fishing and spending time with her family and boyfriend. She is extremely passionate about the welfare and care of animals. She plans to continue to do mission work that will include teaching proper care for animals both large and small. What excites her the most about her current and future work is helping to improve the lives of animals, offering support to families during times of tough decisions, and increasing awareness about animal care. She looks forward to continuing to work with you and your pet! Fun Fact: Audrey started out working at Silver Maple as a dog walker in the kennel, which helped her to build relationships with SMVC clients.
